Club administration
The Tuggeranong Panthers Volleyball Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Monday 10 April. At that meeting the current executive members of the Panthers management committee, Chris Currie (President), Nick Dent (Treasurer) and Steve Currie (Secretary), will all step down and not seek re-election.

For the Panthers to continue to operate as a club, we need other volunteers to step into these roles.

If insufficient nominations for the committee are received the club will:
• Allow teams to enter in competitions under the Panthers name and provide uniforms and balls. However, there will need to be a minimum 8 paid-up players per team and there will be no further assistance provided (no coaching, no player coordination, etc.). Trainings and matches will need to be coordinated by those in the team. The Southern Cross Stadium booking on Mondays will be maintained until such time as it is no longer being used. It should be noted that at this stage there are not enough players registered for this option to work;
• Amalgamate Panthers with another club; or
• Wind the club up.

2017 teams – current situation
We did not have enough registrations for teams in in Season 1 of Open League (Monday men/boys, Tuesday women/girls). Season 2 begins the end of July.
We currently have insufficient numbers to form Capital Volleyball League (CVL) teams:
- Women: 7 registered players
- Men: 4 registered players
A decision on the viability of CVL teams will be made on Friday 31 March. If you have not yet registered and would like to be a Panthers team please register with a deposit via the P-mart in our app (or online).

Training sessions
After this week’s training session, Monday trainings will continue for CVL teams (if any).
Practice for newer or non-CVL level players will discontinue, unless a coach is able to be found. Anyone willing to coach and run non-CVL trainings on Mondays should contact the club via panthers.volleyball@hotmail.com by Friday 31 March. With a coach(es), this group might aim for Season 2 of Open League in July.
